Evaluation of Investment in Developing Export Agriculture
Funding source: USAID

USAID selected SECID to perform an evaluation of the $30 million Investment
in Developing Export Agriculture project, which was designed to reduce mass
poverty levels in Uganda.

The evaluation team focused on the major achievements and impacts of the project,
concentrated on the development of lessons learned, and provided programming
guidance to the USAID Mission with respect to priorities for the remaining 18 months
of the project. Additionally, the team provided recommendations to USAID to improve
results from new projects coming on line, particularly the Agricultural Productivity
Enhancement Program (APEP), U-Trade and Prime/West.
